How does a 35-year marriage transform into a Master/slave dynamic?

Trouvere le Fou (Fet: Trouvere-le-Fou) is a Master, educator, author, and coach. Prince-Commander of the 22 & 23 Master/slave Special Forces (MsSF), Prince's Own. Graduate of MTTA Master's Weekend 28. He is the Security Director for MsC. Proper form of address for for him is Trouvere / he / him. "Your Highness" or "Your Excellency" is appropriate if you want to be ridiculously formal. We are only ridiculously formal on occasion. 🙂

Chanteuse (Fet: Chanteuselabelle) is Trouvere's wife, slave, and Executive Officer (XO) of the 22 & 23 Master/slave Special Forces (MsSF), Prince's Own. She is an author, educator, and professionally helps instructors be better instructors. She will be a judge of the 2024 Northeast Master/slave Contest. Graduate of MTTA female slave Weekend 62. She may be addressed as Chanteuse / she / her. Colonel or XO are appropriate for those in the Regiment.

We have been married for over 35 years, starting with egalitarian and adopting more and more Authority Transfer style over the last ~25 years, as we found it worked better. We arrived at Master/slave when we found this part of the community and met those who came before. We have been active in the community for the last 20+ years. We currently host and are Director and Majordomo of MAsT: Fredericksburg.
